Glasurit celebrates 130 Year Anniversary

On Friday 4th May 2018, over 110 Glasurit® bodyshop owners, managers, OEM representatives and industry media, gathered at The National Maritime Museum in Sydney to celebrate Glasurit’s 130 year anniversary milestone.
The cocktail function was set in the Endeavour Pavilion, beside the Australian built replica of James Cook’s HMB Endeavour an ideal venue with both the Endeavour and Glasurit rich in history.

Mr Tony Wiggins, Head of Coatings, BASF Australia and New Zealand, welcomed guests to the evening touching on the key milestone for Glasurit. In 2015 BASF celebrated its 150th anniversary and for Glasurit, the history began in 1888, 130 years ago. “We’re very proud to be able to carry on the Glasurit legacy of quality products and continued innovation 130 years on, the strength of our brand is a real testament to the many people who have supported and contributed to its success throughout this time,” said Tony.
The cocktail function was simple and elegant with entertainment by local musician Dave White.
